Week of December 5-9th

This week, we will learn how the holidays are celebrated in various areas of the world. Students will "travel" to the other second grade classes to learn about holiday traditions in a particular area. When their travel is complete, students will have a passport and other information in their suitcase about the countries they visited and some things they learned. Look for their suitcases to come home Friday to see where they have been and what they have learned.

Thursday, December 8th is Chick-fil-A Family Night. Please join us from 5-7pm as we have fun while enjoying dinner with our school family and community.

Although we will not have a story this week from our Treasures book, we will review skills already learned as we explore holiday traditions around the world.
