Week of October 23-26

I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule to meet with me about your child's academic performance on Thursday for parent conferences. If you were not able to attend, email me a time and I will check my schedule for availability.

This will be a testing week. You should have received a letter Thursday about CogAt and Iowa testing that will take place Wednesday-Friday and Wednesday-Thursday, November 1-2. Because of testing this week, we will not have a new story and review previously taught reading comprehension skills.

This week is also Red Ribbon Week. We will have "special days" all week. Monday is Seventies Day, Tuesday is Cap Day, Wednesday is Culture Day, Thursday is Favorite College T-Shirt day and Friday is Wear Red day. Please see the flyer that went home for more information.
