Thanks to all who came out for Math Night. We had an excellent turn out with lots of fun and engaging math activities. We appreciate you taking the time out of your evening to fellowship with the school community.
We will have a flashmob on Friday for Jump Rope for Heart. Please allow your child to wear red so that we will be easily seen. Your child will come home with his/her own jump rope that day as well. Friday is also an early dismissal day.
Remember, Monday, February 19 is now a regular school day. This is the make up day for the day we missed in January.
~From Ms. Rana
My name is Rana Abuhashem and I will be completing my student
teaching in your child’s classroom. I am currently in my final year studying Elementary
Education at the University of South Carolina. As a student teacher, I
will spend time observing the class structure, routine, and lessons that Ms.
Watson teaches. I will work closely with Ms. Watson to co-plan and teach
lessons in the classroom. I look forward to working with such a wonderful group
of children. Teaching and working with children is a joy to me. During my time
in your child’s class, I hope to excite your child about the world of learning
and broaden his or her academic and personal interests. I would like to thank
you for providing me with the opportunity to work with your child. I look
forward to learning from my mentor teacher and from your child.
