Week of January 7-11, 2019

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! As we reflect on the past year, we look forward to all the great things this new year has to offer, especially in this second half of the school year. I hope you enjoyed your time with family and friends over the break. Now, let's get ready for 2019!

As we review rules and procedures, we will get back into the swing of things in all subject areas. We will begin a new unit in Reading-Better Together. The stories in this unit will focus on how things are better when you work together. We will continue with the previous topics in all other subject areas for a few more weeks.

Homework will also pick back up this week. The reading log will be assigned Monday and is due the following Monday. The vocabulary map will be assigned Monday and due Thursday. Vocabulary and reading assessments will be on Thursday.

As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I am only a phone call/email away.
