Week of January 30-February 3rd

The students are finally grasping the concept of addition and subtraction with regrouping. We will continue to work on them as we move on to Geometry. We will begin by discussing shapes, sides, angles, faces and corners. In science, students are enjoying learning about weather. This week, we will discuss tools we use to measure the various types of weather.

We had to change the date of our zoo field study. It is now scheduled for Thursday, April 20th. Please make the necessary adjustments to your schedule, especially if you are planning on attending. Thanks in advance for your flexibility. Our next field study is planned for Friday, March 24th to Kroger.
