February 13-17th

The students have been enjoying learning about shapes, sides and angles. We started looking at shapes to determine other shapes that they may see. We are now partitioning shapes which is leading into an introduction of fractions (mostly halves and fourths.)

Ms. McCloud will begin taking over more teaching responsibilities as she moves toward her two full weeks of teaching. This will be an easy transition for the students since she has been in the classroom, building relationships by leading morning meeting and working with small groups.

Please remember that Friday, February 17th is an early dismissal day. We will dismiss at 11:30am and lunch will be served. If your child's transportation changes for that day, please send a note/email indicating the change. Also, we WILL have school on Monday, February 20th. This is one of the three inclement make-up days for the days missed due to Hurricane Matthew.
