Week of April 17-21th

I hope you all have an enjoyable Spring Break. Please take time to enjoy your family and friends and RELAX! You deserve it! Classes will resume on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 7:30am, which is an inclement weather make-up day.

Market Day will be held Tuesday, April 18th. Please make sure your child has his/her items and money. Students may start bringing in their items Monday if you would like. I will post pictures/video to Class Dojo for your viewing.

Our last field study is scheduled for Thursday, April 20th to the Riverbanks Zoo. We have been studying animals in science and I know the students will make lots of connections between what they have been learning and what they see at the zoo. If you plan to chaperone, please let me know ASAP so that I may make group assignments. You will be responsible for your entrance fee for the zoo. You may pay when you arrive.

Friday is Ms. McCloud's last day of her internship in our class. She will be graduating from USC in a few weeks. We have truly enjoyed her teaching and learning and know that she will make an excellent teacher next year. We are sad to see her go but happy for her accomplishments and wish her nothing but the best as she starts her first year of teaching. CONGRATULATIONS!
