Week of December 3-7th

Thanks to all who came out to enjoy Literacy Night! We had a great time with engaging literacy activities in the classrooms, buying books at the book fair and eating pizza with our Killian Family.

We would like to welcome Aydin who joined us on Friday! He fits right in with the class and is adjusting well.

This week, we will learn about holidays around the world. We will be traveling to different countries (classrooms) to learn about how they celebrate during this time of year. Look for your child's passport at the end of the week to see where he/she has traveled.

Our next field study is scheduled for Friday, December 14th to EdVenture Children's Museum. We will have a chance to experience a class on Force and Motion as well as explore the museum. Please check Parent Portal to ensure you have paid for the trip.

As you begin to plan for the Winter Break, remember the change in schedule due to make up days. Thursday, December 20th is now a full day of school and Friday, December 21st is a half day dismissing at 11:30am. Please adjust accordingly.
