Week of February 4th-8th

Thanks to all of you who joined us for First Friday breakfast. I know your child loved having you come to the school to eat with him/her. THANK YOU!!!

The students enjoyed the activities we had with the new topics in math, science and social studies! We will continue to build on those topics as we encounter new learning experiences.

We will begin research in celebration of Black History Month. We will research in class but some work will be required at home. (We will send specific details on how you may assist your child.)

Math Night is scheduled for Tuesday, February 12th. The book fair will also start that day and end Friday around noon. If you would like for your child to buy books, please send the money in an envelope label with his/her name, amount, and my name and we will make sure he/she goes.

We have an early dismissal day coming up on Friday, February 15th and there is no school Monday, February 18th. Please plan accordingly.
